To be fond of dancing...

"To be fond of dancing was a certain step towards falling in love." Jane Austen

It was brought to my attention, very recently, that as someone who claims to enjoy writing, I don't write very much. I am here to tell you that this embarrassing accusation is entirely TRUE. So I am now here to redeem my pathetic reputation and show the blogging world how witty I really am.

I would like to point out that Jane Austen quotes are entirely relatable to everyday life. Today I would like to introduce myself a little bit. I am a college student and one of the finest institutions in the country. I am the loudest and proudest member of the Fighting Texas Aggie class of 2014, A-Whoop! I study Dance and have minors in History and English.

The quote I chose today is about being fond of dancing and that fondness being a stepping stone towards falling in love. For those of you who are not avid readers of Jane Austen novels, this quote is taken from my favorite book: Pride and Prejudice. I would just like to state, for the record, that I am quite fond of dancing, and have been since the ripe young age of three. Ballet, Jazz, Hip-hop, Modern,
Ballroom, I love them all. Dancing for me is a way of expressing myself when words just don't seem to be enough. It is an outlet and an art. For too long I have used this as my only outlet because it just feels more natural. Starting today, or probably tomorrow, I am going to set my gears working and try to put some of those feelings usually expressed through movement, into words.

'till then,
xx
